Affordable Rugs and Home Decor

This post is sponsored by eBay.

The opinions and reviews stated in this blog post are my own and my experience with the brand and its products.

If you’ve followed me awhile, you know that I love to update my home with my existing home decor.  I’ll even go as far as switching rugs around to really give the room a fresh look.  I’ve been re-purposing and “shopping my home” since I started this Instagram journey over three years ago.  Shopping my home has been a budget friendly way to change things up without spending any money.   I’ve had most of the rugs in our home for several years, so I decided it was time to bring in something new!  Thankfully, eBay always has great Daily Deals, like the one going on now!  I’m excited I was able to partner with them to find affordable rugs and home decor!

One room in our home that seems to get a lot of attention is the media room.  I get questions all the time about the wall baskets and fern print wall art.  As I scrolled through eBay’s website, I quickly learned that eBay has an amazing source of brand new rugs, home accessories… Even furniture!  I was delighted to find that they offer similar home decor that I already have in my home.  I’ve shopped eBay before, but never like this!

eBay offers a large variety of home decor, which makes it easy (and fun) to find exactly what you’re looking for.  Another thing I learned while working with eBay is that 80% of items sold on eBay are brand new!  These new items can be purchased by using the Buy-It-Now option.  Something I learned while shopping with eBay, is I can search for name brand items, like our new nuLOOM rug.  I was also surprised to learn that many of the items I found on eBay have been the same items that are sold out in other stores.  Next time I’m looking for something specific, I’ll be sure to check eBay first!

I chose this neutral rug with a subtle pattern because I knew it would go nicely in just about any room in our home.  I went with an 8 by 10, because this size accommodates most rooms.  I love that this rug would look great in our media room, living room, office, dining room; even the guest room.  I wish I could show you what this rug looks like in each of those rooms… I’d definitely get my workout in!  You’ll just have to check back on my Instagram to see where this rug winds up next!

This beautiful accent table is one of my favorites!  The details on the top and turned legs are what make it so unique.  The washed wood resin table lamp adds a rustic feel and makes this area of the room feel cozy!

So, as I was creating this blog post, I thought it would be fun to source a few of the popular pieces in our media room.  Maybe you’ve wanted to re-create this look in your home, but didn’t know where to begin.  The pieces I’ve linked include the reclaimed wood tv console, fern prints and similar wall baskets.

I’m also sharing several affordable rugs and home decor that I considered  purchasing on eBay.  Much of what I found on eBay were things I already own, like this upholstered bench that Angel is lounging on…

Check out the links below for product details and prices.  All of these options are budget friendly and can be easily purchased on eBay.

Are you a new eBay shopper like me?  I really enjoyed shopping for new name brand items; I encourage you to try out eBay for your next shopping experience.   Let me know in the comments what you purchased; I’d love to hear from you!  I hope this enlightened you to what eBay has to offer… Have a great day, friends!

Blessings,

Hi Alicia, I’m wondering where your runner rug in your kitchen is from?! Thanks!

Hi Holly! The vintage kilim rug in my kitchen is from an Etsy seller. It’s very old and one of a kind. If you search kilim rugs, you will be sure to find similar ones. Hope that helps!

Hi the woven. Baskets link is not bringing up anything on Ebay. Any chance you have an update link?

Hi! No, I’m sorry, I can’t find a source for these at this time. If I happen to find one, I’ll be sure to share!

About Alicia

Alicia of Our Vintage Nest

My name is Alicia Armstrong; thank you for being here!
Ever since I can remember, I've been exposed to interior decorating. Watching my mom decorate and antique shop is a vivid childhood memory. Since starting this blog in 2016, my taste in decor has evolved to a more refined style. I've never leaned toward trendy, but more of a classic and timeless style. I enjoy shopping my home and changing things up to update a space. I love working on relatively simple projects and seeing a piece of furniture or room transform on a small budget. We purchased a new home four years ago and while there's nothing that needs to be renovated, I'm constantly finding something to enhance. I've painted several rooms, added shiplap, designed built-ins for a homework station and updated builder grade tile since moving here in 2016.
I've been married to my husband, Chris for 20 years. He works as an IT engineer for a small business. We have two children and reside in NW Arkansas. We are a Christian family who desires to live a life with Christ at the center. We have two animals, a Golden Retriever, Paisley and a blue point Ragdoll, Angel. They definitely complete our family and bring us a lot of joy!
I'm happy you've found Our Vintage Nest, where I share inspiration for all things home. I hope to inspire you to love your home, re-purpose what you have through simple DIY and learn some practical design tips along the way.
