Styled Table for the Holidays from Walmart Home

Thyme & Table Dinnerware Black & White Dot Stoneware

Can you believe it’s that time of year again?  I haven’t shared a styled table in quite awhile.  I’m keeping it simple, yet beautiful this year.  We hope to host a small gathering with friends in the coming weeks and these new dishes and flatware from Walmart are gorgeous together.  I love a styled table for the holidays; I found everything I needed from the Holiday Line at Walmart Home.

This salad plate is just one of many pieces from the Thyme & Table Dinnerware Set.  It comes in three other color way options:  Ava Grey, Black and White Medallion, and Black Onyx.  This set looks expensive with its beautiful dot design and gold rim.  I had a friend over the other day and she just loved it so much and asked where I got it!  She couldn’t believe it when I said Walmart!  This set comes with 4 dinner plates, 4 salad plates, and 4 bowls.

I had so much fun picking out these coordinating pieces for our table for four.  I love to layer my dishes and linens and add texture where I can.  I found this beaded garland in the Christmas section and knew it would add a neutral holiday touch.  The black mirror flatware makes each place setting feel extra fancy.

I think black and white tablescapes are my favorite.  The touch of gold around the plate edges and the clear glass mugs compliment each other beautifully.   It’s all in the details for me and Walmart made it so easy to shop online and in store for all my hosting needs!

About Alicia

Alicia of Our Vintage Nest

My name is Alicia Armstrong; thank you for being here!
Ever since I can remember, I've been exposed to interior decorating. Watching my mom decorate and antique shop is a vivid childhood memory. Since starting this blog in 2016, my taste in decor has evolved to a more refined style. I've never leaned toward trendy, but more of a classic and timeless style. I enjoy shopping my home and changing things up to update a space. I love working on relatively simple projects and seeing a piece of furniture or room transform on a small budget. We purchased a new home four years ago and while there's nothing that needs to be renovated, I'm constantly finding something to enhance. I've painted several rooms, added shiplap, designed built-ins for a homework station and updated builder grade tile since moving here in 2016.
I've been married to my husband, Chris for 20 years. He works as an IT engineer for a small business. We have two children and reside in NW Arkansas. We are a Christian family who desires to live a life with Christ at the center. We have two animals, a Golden Retriever, Paisley and a blue point Ragdoll, Angel. They definitely complete our family and bring us a lot of joy!
I'm happy you've found Our Vintage Nest, where I share inspiration for all things home. I hope to inspire you to love your home, re-purpose what you have through simple DIY and learn some practical design tips along the way.
