Quality Ceiling Fans Make All The Difference

This blog post is sponsored by Hunter Fan Company.  All opinions are my own and my experience with the brand and its products.

I’m convinced that quality ceiling fans make all the difference!  For the past three summers, my kids have requested stronger (and prettier) ceiling fans in their upstairs bedrooms.  When we moved in several years ago, we went with a standard builder grade fan, knowing we would eventually upgrade to something better!  So, when Hunter fans asked me to partner with them to feature their fans, I knew this would be a win-win for everyone!

The biggest complaint my kids had about the other fans was poor air circulation.  I would always find them with the covers kicked off or sleeping in a cooler room.  We knew Hunter would give us the reliability of a strong and quiet fan, not to mention beauty and style!  Ava’s fan is the 52″ Modern Brass Hepburn and it couldn’t be more perfect for her room; shes loves it!  The brass detail and fish bowl lighting is so fresh and feminine!  We were surprised to discover the remote control light switch that can be installed on the wall!

Both kids had their rooms repainted and updated earlier this year.  At the time, the only thing I didn’t update was the lighting.  I’ve had my eye on the 52″ Modern Brass Hepburn for some time now, knowing it would be the perfect fan for her room.  There was a time when Ava had a chandelier, because that’s what I always wanted for her!  Well, we soon learned that not having a fan in an upstairs bedroom was miserable and so we compromised on the Hepburn!  Thank you to Hunter fans for making such a pretty ceiling fan!

Tyler’s room received a total makeover in early February!  He absolutely loves the updates, but as I suspected, he kindly requested an updated fan too!  He helped me to find one with a rustic and grown up look that he can enjoy for years to come!  This is the 52″ Noble Bronze Wingate with a tunable white LED light, featuring three light settings.  He conveniently has a remote he can control from the comfort of his bed.  It also features a dimmer to adjust the lighting, which he loves to use at night.

Hunter offers several types of fans based on your needs and each Hunter fan is designed for one of three environments.  A dry indoor room, a covered outdoor area or a room that may be exposed to dampness, or an outdoor space that gets direct contact with water.  Fans that could be exposed to moisture feature rust-resistant stainless steel hardware and blades made with materials that resist the elements.  I have a few more spaces to share with you in the coming weeks that feature more Hunter fans and lighting, so stayed tuned for more soon!

I’m convinced that quality ceiling fans make all the difference.  They provide comfort, style and function and based on my experience, Hunter offers all of this!  I hope this post has helped you in selecting the right fan for your home!  Thanks for stopping by and please ask any questions you have in the comments below!

Blessings,

About Alicia

Alicia of Our Vintage Nest

My name is Alicia Armstrong; thank you for being here!
Ever since I can remember, I've been exposed to interior decorating. Watching my mom decorate and antique shop is a vivid childhood memory. Since starting this blog in 2016, my taste in decor has evolved to a more refined style. I've never leaned toward trendy, but more of a classic and timeless style. I enjoy shopping my home and changing things up to update a space. I love working on relatively simple projects and seeing a piece of furniture or room transform on a small budget. We purchased a new home four years ago and while there's nothing that needs to be renovated, I'm constantly finding something to enhance. I've painted several rooms, added shiplap, designed built-ins for a homework station and updated builder grade tile since moving here in 2016.
I've been married to my husband, Chris for 20 years. He works as an IT engineer for a small business. We have two children and reside in NW Arkansas. We are a Christian family who desires to live a life with Christ at the center. We have two animals, a Golden Retriever, Paisley and a blue point Ragdoll, Angel. They definitely complete our family and bring us a lot of joy!
I'm happy you've found Our Vintage Nest, where I share inspiration for all things home. I hope to inspire you to love your home, re-purpose what you have through simple DIY and learn some practical design tips along the way.
