It’s that time of year again and I’m so thankful!
The blankets, candles, fall foliage and neutral throw pillows have made their way into our living room and I’m loving it!
I started decorating for fall earlier than usual this year, in hopes it would give us time to take in all the things we enjoy this time of year! Feeling less overwhelmed during the holidays is always a good thing! This is the first time during the year when I change up the colors for the season; it also means more blankets, more candles, more movie nights and sweater weather! In this post, I’m sharing how to add neutral fall touches for your home.
I recently added this 80 year vintage rug and it instantly warmed up our over-sized living room. With all the gorgeous rich colors, I decided to go with neutrals for my pillows and fall accents.
I purchased a few neutral pieces from Walmart to add a little more cozy to our living room. There’s a lot to choose from and I love shopping their online Walmart Home collections. I grabbed two of these BHG tufted trellis pillows and they add so much texture to our linen love seat. They have a cozy, boho vibe with their texture and chunky tassels. They are very well made. I have to say… Angel, our blue point Ragdoll is my favorite neutral of all!
This 20 x 20 striped fringe pillow is a great price and I love the pop of taupe peeking through the fringe! I’ve sourced a few other neutral pillows, throws and vases for your convenience!
Adding vintage books and pops of gold throughout our home is a great way to add those fall colors without using fall decor. I love this BHG geometric table top piece as a bookend; its the perfect shape and size.
