My Favorite Serena & Lily Must-Haves

Special thanks to Serena & Lily for sponsoring this post.  All opinions are my own and my experience with the brand and its products.

master bathroom featuring the la jolla basket

Over the years, I continue to be intentional with collecting quality pieces for our home.  In this post, I’ll be sharing my favorite Serena & Lily must-haves and how they’ve held up over the years!  I’ve been purchasing their products for years and learned very quickly that quality is everything to them and it shows!

this lidded basket is beautiful and functional

We have benefited greatly by having this medium size LaJolla basket in our master bedroom.  It’s the perfect lidded basket for storing our extra hand towels and wash cloths; it’s so beautiful and neutral.  We’ve had it for a few years now and it still looks like new!  I recently purchased the smaller one to use in our guest room.  They come in three different sizes; the large one is ideal to use as a hamper.

lightweight and easy to clean counter stools

These Riviera counter stools in the color Fog were my first purchase from Serena & Lily.  I knew from the moment I saw them they were the ones for our kitchen!  Before, we had a set of three white hand me down stools that served their purpose for many years.  However, with small children, we never cared for how heavy and difficult they were to use or move around when cleaning.  The Riviera stools are perfect because they are narrow, lightweight and super easy to clean!  We love the woven texture and the ease of moving them around.

functional bathroom stools by the tub

These beautiful dip-dyed stools in our master bathroom give a nice contrast to the space and are so functional.  Serena & Lily carries a variety of these stools; available in different colors.  These stools have traveled throughout our home and are great as a pair or styled separately.  I love them by our corner tub to hold my washcloths and other bath essentials.  The taller stool is perfect as a plant stand or for sitting while potting flowers.  The teak step stool would be especially helpful in a child’s bathroom.  It’s sturdy and stylish too!

When I purchased the Riviera counter stools for our kitchen island a few years ago, I wasn’t sure if I had enough room for four, so I only bought three.  I love their narrow frame and knew we had room for a fourth.  These chairs have been the best decision for our family.  We use them every single day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Tyler will often turn the stool around to face the living room and eat popcorn while watching a movie.  We now have the option of sitting together at the island or the breakfast nook.  They truly are a staple piece in our home!

I’ve often thought about adding their Riviera Dining Chairs in our dining room because I love the look and comfort of them!

We recently returned from our beach vacation in Florida.  To my delight, much of our beach house was decorated with Serena & Lily products!  Being the loyal customer that I am, I immediately recognized several pieces, such as lamps, pendants, chairs and decor!  I’ve sourced a few of those items below, if you’re interested!

Blessings,

About Alicia

Alicia of Our Vintage Nest

My name is Alicia Armstrong; thank you for being here!
Ever since I can remember, I've been exposed to interior decorating. Watching my mom decorate and antique shop is a vivid childhood memory. Since starting this blog in 2016, my taste in decor has evolved to a more refined style. I've never leaned toward trendy, but more of a classic and timeless style. I enjoy shopping my home and changing things up to update a space. I love working on relatively simple projects and seeing a piece of furniture or room transform on a small budget. We purchased a new home four years ago and while there's nothing that needs to be renovated, I'm constantly finding something to enhance. I've painted several rooms, added shiplap, designed built-ins for a homework station and updated builder grade tile since moving here in 2016.
I've been married to my husband, Chris for 20 years. He works as an IT engineer for a small business. We have two children and reside in NW Arkansas. We are a Christian family who desires to live a life with Christ at the center. We have two animals, a Golden Retriever, Paisley and a blue point Ragdoll, Angel. They definitely complete our family and bring us a lot of joy!
I'm happy you've found Our Vintage Nest, where I share inspiration for all things home. I hope to inspire you to love your home, re-purpose what you have through simple DIY and learn some practical design tips along the way.
