Lemonade Bar Essentials

Hey friends!  How’s your summer?  Well, one things for sure, this summer heat isn’t letting up any time soon!  We love lemonade; especially this time of year!  My kids have often asked for a lemonade bar to enjoy after a hot summer day!  They got so excited when they saw me setting one up in our breakfast nook!  They wanted to help with making the lemonade, preparing the glasses and even mentioned having a lemonade stand in the neighborhood!  I found all our lemonade bar essentials at Walmart and was so impressed with their Walmart Home Summer line that includes, kitchen, home decor and outdoor finds!

This post is sponsored by Walmart and contains affiliate links for your convenience.

All opinions are my own and my experience with the brand and its products and services.

When we added this built-in area in our breakfast nook last year, I specifically designed it for having a hosting station or for creating a fun area for the kids to come and make drinks!  So far, it’s been a coffee station, hot cocoa station and now a lemonade bar!  It’s such a functional space that we have enjoyed more than I thought!

SHOP THE LOOK:

When I saw this two gallon beverage dispenser for under $15, I knew I had to add it to our theme of drink stations!  It’s such a cute style and the kids and I loved adding fresh lemons and strawberries to make it more festive and fun!

This space didn’t seem complete without flowers!  I fell in love with this ceramic table vase; it was begging for a fresh summer bouquet!  I found this beautiful floral arrangement at Walmart and love all the colors together!

I have a confession to make and I’m fairly certain I’m not alone on this one!  I have a weakness for pretty glasses and just had to have a set of these tumblers!  Aren’t they so cute with a lemon slice and strawberry?  I love the fun teal color and vintage design!

I added these cute checked towels to my online Walmart order.  It’s been so convenient these days with free pick up in store!  I’ve made our lives a little easier by using Walmart+ and receive free shipping with no minimum orders from walmart.com.  They have a free 15-day trial that you can check out here.

This 12 by 16 inch bamboo cutting board came in handy when preparing the lemonade.  I like the added feature of metal handles on both sides of the board.

We used this mini waffle maker the other day and it was so easy and fun!  The kids and I have plans to make all kinds of waffles and freezing the extras will make for easy breakfasts when school starts!

Candles are another weakness of mine and I just love the packaging and scent of this sheer jasmine candle.   It smells so good and I know I’ll be going back for more scents they offer!

Thanks for stopping by the blog today!  I hope you enjoyed learning about my summer finds at Walmart!  It was fun to share my lemonade bar essentials and create a summertime treat for my kids!

Blessings,

About Alicia

Alicia of Our Vintage Nest

My name is Alicia Armstrong; thank you for being here!
Ever since I can remember, I've been exposed to interior decorating. Watching my mom decorate and antique shop is a vivid childhood memory. Since starting this blog in 2016, my taste in decor has evolved to a more refined style. I've never leaned toward trendy, but more of a classic and timeless style. I enjoy shopping my home and changing things up to update a space. I love working on relatively simple projects and seeing a piece of furniture or room transform on a small budget. We purchased a new home four years ago and while there's nothing that needs to be renovated, I'm constantly finding something to enhance. I've painted several rooms, added shiplap, designed built-ins for a homework station and updated builder grade tile since moving here in 2016.
I've been married to my husband, Chris for 20 years. He works as an IT engineer for a small business. We have two children and reside in NW Arkansas. We are a Christian family who desires to live a life with Christ at the center. We have two animals, a Golden Retriever, Paisley and a blue point Ragdoll, Angel. They definitely complete our family and bring us a lot of joy!
I'm happy you've found Our Vintage Nest, where I share inspiration for all things home. I hope to inspire you to love your home, re-purpose what you have through simple DIY and learn some practical design tips along the way.
