Creating Simplicity in the Master Bathroom

Special thanks to Walmart for sponsoring this post!

Hi friends!  Today, I’m sharing how I create function and flow in our master bathroom.  Creating simplicity in the master bathroom makes the morning routine go smoother, don’t you agree?  I’ve partnered with Walmart again to share classy and affordable items for your home!  Their vintage chic bathroom collection is full of beautiful pieces!  I continue to be blown away by their selection… They have become my go-to when I need to organize my home!

SHOP MY BATHROOM DECOR

Prior to creating order in my bathroom, my counters were a cluttered mess, leaving me feeling frazzled at the start of each day.  I quickly put an end to that and decided to only use items that serve a purpose, while also being beautiful!  I’ve been so impressed by the overall quality of the products I’ve found at Walmart.  I love bringing you all the best deals and with these price points, you can’t help but share!  When I started looking for functional pieces for my counters, the vintage chic collection had everything and more!

I love containers with lids and trays for jewelry and makeup items.  My style is very neutral, so I went with clear and white with subtle brass touches, tying in with the existing theme in our bathroom.  These lidded apothecary jars by Better Homes & Gardens come in several sizes.  I grabbed the small and medium size to store q-tips and cotton swabs.  The vintage tray with brass trim is perfect for both.

The other necessity I grabbed was this beautiful 2-piece matte set for under $14!  I love the classic look and lidded container.  They have other matching pieces, such as a soap dish, soap pump and toothbrush holder.

SHOP OTHER VINTAGE CHIC PIECES

I’ve shared a few of my other favorites from this collection above… Just slide and tap to view each product from Walmart.  If you’re interested in learning more design details about our bathroom, check out this post!

Hope you found this post helpful in creating simplicity in the master bathroom!  If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments below!  Have a great weekend!

Blessings,

It’s a beautiful bathroom!! What type of hook did you use to hang the mirror? And where is the gorgeous wall paper from?

Hi Tanya… So, the mirror came with it’s own hook. I’d like to invite you to follow me on Instagram, where I source my home decor. As far as the wallpaper, I have a blog post on those details! Thanks for your interest in our home!

Hi Tanya… Thank you! The brass hook came with the mirror and was anchored into the wall. I have a blog post from a few months back on the wallpaper and the source. Hope that helps and thanks for your interest!

About Alicia

Alicia of Our Vintage Nest

My name is Alicia Armstrong; thank you for being here!
Ever since I can remember, I've been exposed to interior decorating. Watching my mom decorate and antique shop is a vivid childhood memory. Since starting this blog in 2016, my taste in decor has evolved to a more refined style. I've never leaned toward trendy, but more of a classic and timeless style. I enjoy shopping my home and changing things up to update a space. I love working on relatively simple projects and seeing a piece of furniture or room transform on a small budget. We purchased a new home four years ago and while there's nothing that needs to be renovated, I'm constantly finding something to enhance. I've painted several rooms, added shiplap, designed built-ins for a homework station and updated builder grade tile since moving here in 2016.
I've been married to my husband, Chris for 20 years. He works as an IT engineer for a small business. We have two children and reside in NW Arkansas. We are a Christian family who desires to live a life with Christ at the center. We have two animals, a Golden Retriever, Paisley and a blue point Ragdoll, Angel. They definitely complete our family and bring us a lot of joy!
I'm happy you've found Our Vintage Nest, where I share inspiration for all things home. I hope to inspire you to love your home, re-purpose what you have through simple DIY and learn some practical design tips along the way.
