Corian® Design Moodboard Maker

This was a paid advertorial with Corian® Design.

Hi friends!  I’m so excited to have partnered with Corian® Design and their new online Moodboard Maker tool!  The timing could not have been more perfect, as I discovered them during the planning of our media room addition.

When it comes to learning new things, I’m definitely a visual learner, so imagine my delight when using this online tool!  It was so easy to use when designing this new space.  The images below show you what type of moodboards you can create and what they look like.

By using this tool, I was able to incorporate all of the elements I envisioned for our media room.  These elements include colors, textures and patterns that reflect my modern farmhouse style.

The two moodboards that spoke to me the most were the Minimal (left) and Organic (right) styles.  I love that the tool allows me to choose pre-downloaded images, in addition to my own images to create a specific and tailored moodboard.  As you can see from my created moodboards, I used close-up images of my countertops and woven baskets for a more custom look.  One of the many perks to this tool is the ability to download and save any moodboard I create.  Whether it be for a client or a unique piece of artwork for my home.

When creating a moodboard for the media room, I chose a classic swatch of Corian® Quartz in the color, Neve for my first element.  My focus for this space was a clean and simple design, not too cluttered; with touches of texture and warmth.

I quickly discovered that the possibilites are endless when creating these moodboards.  They have quite a few pre-downloaded options to choose from and the ability to download your own makes it unique!  If you’re a visual person like me, I hope you found this blog post and tool helpful!  Big or small, I encourage you to use it during the planning of your next project!

Blessings,

About Alicia

Alicia of Our Vintage Nest

My name is Alicia Armstrong; thank you for being here!
Ever since I can remember, I've been exposed to interior decorating. Watching my mom decorate and antique shop is a vivid childhood memory. Since starting this blog in 2016, my taste in decor has evolved to a more refined style. I've never leaned toward trendy, but more of a classic and timeless style. I enjoy shopping my home and changing things up to update a space. I love working on relatively simple projects and seeing a piece of furniture or room transform on a small budget. We purchased a new home four years ago and while there's nothing that needs to be renovated, I'm constantly finding something to enhance. I've painted several rooms, added shiplap, designed built-ins for a homework station and updated builder grade tile since moving here in 2016.
I've been married to my husband, Chris for 20 years. He works as an IT engineer for a small business. We have two children and reside in NW Arkansas. We are a Christian family who desires to live a life with Christ at the center. We have two animals, a Golden Retriever, Paisley and a blue point Ragdoll, Angel. They definitely complete our family and bring us a lot of joy!
I'm happy you've found Our Vintage Nest, where I share inspiration for all things home. I hope to inspire you to love your home, re-purpose what you have through simple DIY and learn some practical design tips along the way.
