Ava’s Vintage Bedroom Reveal with Walmart Home

Special thanks to Walmart for sponsoring this post!

We started redesigning Ava’s bedroom about a month ago.  Per her request, we added beautiful bead board and she picked out new paint colors.  While she was away at camp, we worked our magic and pulled it all together before her return home!

I’m happy to finally share Ava’s vintage bedroom reveal and the beautiful accessories we found online at Walmart.  Their home collections feature so many different styles and my items arrived on my doorstep after just a few days!  The details on these embroidered pillows from BHG are my favorite.  The texture and tassels tie in beautifully with her vintage style.

We added this textured organic cotton throw at the foot of her bed to compliment the wall color.  It’s from the GAP home line for Walmart and adds a layer of cozy to her room.  I’ve linked a few of those items here:

Night stand accessories are a must, especially when you’re a teenager!  Ava and I picked out a few jade pieces from The Pioneer Woman collection for Walmart and love the vintage feel they give.  The small scalloped bowl is perfect for her earrings and the cookie jar might just be used for storing her sweets for a late night snack.

This vintage radio retro Bluetooth speaker was a gift for her 17th birthday and she loves it for syncing her favorite music!

It brings me great joy to give my girl the vintage bedroom she’s always wanted.  I love the pieces we found at Walmart and shopping online was so easy and convenient!  I’ve linked a few more pieces that are available and vintage inspired!

I hope you enjoyed this post of Ava’s vintage bedroom reveal; be sure to check out all there is to offer from Walmart!

Blessings,

About Alicia

Alicia of Our Vintage Nest

My name is Alicia Armstrong; thank you for being here!
Ever since I can remember, I've been exposed to interior decorating. Watching my mom decorate and antique shop is a vivid childhood memory. Since starting this blog in 2016, my taste in decor has evolved to a more refined style. I've never leaned toward trendy, but more of a classic and timeless style. I enjoy shopping my home and changing things up to update a space. I love working on relatively simple projects and seeing a piece of furniture or room transform on a small budget. We purchased a new home four years ago and while there's nothing that needs to be renovated, I'm constantly finding something to enhance. I've painted several rooms, added shiplap, designed built-ins for a homework station and updated builder grade tile since moving here in 2016.
I've been married to my husband, Chris for 20 years. He works as an IT engineer for a small business. We have two children and reside in NW Arkansas. We are a Christian family who desires to live a life with Christ at the center. We have two animals, a Golden Retriever, Paisley and a blue point Ragdoll, Angel. They definitely complete our family and bring us a lot of joy!
I'm happy you've found Our Vintage Nest, where I share inspiration for all things home. I hope to inspire you to love your home, re-purpose what you have through simple DIY and learn some practical design tips along the way.
